Who we are

Goolbox is an independent Android utility for Garmin storage cleanup, USB music transfer, Connect IQ development tools, and local FIT file inspection and repair. The official website is goolbox.li2niu.com.

USB device and watch files

After you grant Android USB permission, Goolbox may read device names, identifiers exposed by Android, MTP storage capacity, folder and file names, paths, sizes, timestamps, and file contents needed for the tool you select. This information is used to scan storage, create local backups, delete selected files, transfer MP3 files, sideload PRG files, or display Connect IQ logs.

These operations run between your phone and connected watch. Goolbox does not upload watch files or USB scan results to our servers.

Phone files and FIT processing

Android's system file picker gives Goolbox access only to files you select, such as FIT, MP3, or PRG files. FIT inspection, validation, and repair run locally on your Android device. Temporary repair output and diagnostics may be stored in app-private cache or storage.

Repair feedback

If a FIT repair fails, you may choose to open an email draft addressed to [email protected]. The draft can include the original FIT file, failed output, and diagnostic text. FIT files may contain route, activity, time, device, and health-related data. Nothing is sent until you review the draft and send it from your email app.

Purchases

Google Play processes purchases and RevenueCat manages entitlement status. They may process product and transaction identifiers, purchase history, app user identifiers, IP address, device and app metadata, and diagnostics needed to complete, validate, and restore purchases. Their own privacy policies govern this processing.

Website data

This static website may be served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process request metadata such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, and security logs to deliver and protect the site.

Sharing and sale of data

We do not sell personal information and do not use watch files for advertising. Information is shared only with service providers needed for purchases, website delivery, or support that you initiate, and when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

Retention and control

Local scan results, backups, transferred-file state, and repair files remain on your device until removed by the app, deleted by you, cleared with app data, or removed when the app is uninstalled. Google Play, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, and your email provider retain their records under their own policies. Support messages and attachments are kept only as long as needed to investigate the request, maintain security, and meet legal obligations.

You can remove local data by using available delete controls, clearing Goolbox storage, or uninstalling the app. You may also use our data deletion request page to request deletion of support material and RevenueCat purchase-entitlement records that we control, subject to records we must retain for legal, fraud-prevention, or transaction-accounting purposes.

Security

We limit app access through Android USB authorization, the system file picker, app-private storage, and explicit user actions. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so keep independent backups of important watch files before changing them.

Children

The app and website are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International processing

Google Play, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, and email providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their legal safeguards and privacy policies.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app, website, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated.
